March 2014 Susan Baxter Marzec’s memories: I was about 7 years old when Grandma and Grandpa passed away, but I remember going over to their apartment on Main Street on Sundays and sitting on Grandpa’s lap as we played "which hand has the money" - if it was too much money, Grandma wouldn't let him give it to me. He also used to sing a song about "when I was a little girl with long golden curls" to me. I'd say "you were never a little girl" and he'd answer, "Oh, yes I was." Grandma was pretty much in the background. I think I was a little afraid of her, but I do remember the canned fruit on the landing. Great memories.
