Members of the crew of the Boeing B-17 "THE BAD PENNY" are interrogated after their return from a mission over enemy territory. They are, seated (clockwise): Major John J. McNaboe of New York City, Intelligence Officer, Capt. Charles E. Cliburn of Hazelhurst, Mississippi, 1st Lt. Clyde E. DeBaun of Bicknell, Indiana, S/Sgt. Clarence Cluck of Chicago, Illinois, S/Sgt. Paul J. Shook of Akron, Ohio, S/Sgt. Walter C. Dager of Monroeville, Indiana, Sgt. Herbert G. Hays of Parkersburg, West Virginia, T/Sgt. Raymond T. Moore of Corbett, Oregon, S/Sgt. James Moore of Long Island, New York, 1st Lt. Phillip T. Palmer of Wellington, Kansas and 1st Lt. Raymond Y. Kurtz of Bellerose, New York. At the extreme left are Colonel Stanley T.
