Iris B. Morgan, 89, died November 1, 1988, in Salt Lake City.

Born October 3, 1899, Salt Lake City. Married Mable Gerrard September 6, 1928, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served LDS mission to Mexico, labor missionary in Hawaii at time of College construction. Served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including bishop, stake president, and stake patriarch. Loving and generous father and grandfather.

Survived by three sons and two daughters, Marloe G. and Vernon R., Salt Lake City, and Keith G., Mrs. Wallace (Elaine) Wilding, and Miss Janice Morgan, West Valley City, 31 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mildred Breiting and Nila Schiffman, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his wife and a daughter, LaVell Bennion.

Funeral services Friday, 12 noon, Granger 20th Ward, 2850 West 3835 South. Friends may call at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Thursday, 5-8 p.m., and Friday at church one hour prior to service. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
