William Keck (1813-1854) was born in Claiborne County, Tennessee, the oldest child of John and Anna Ousley Keck. He and his wife, Jane, had eight children, 1835-1854. Descendants listed lived in Tennessee, Texas, and elsewhere.

Henry Keck (1817-1862) was born in Claiborne County, Tennessee, the fourth child of John and Anna Ousley Keck. He married Elizabeth Edwards in 1838 or 1839. They had twelve children, 1840-1859, born in Tennessee and Kentucky. The family migrated to Laurel County, Kentucky, ca. 1844. He died of a fever while serving with Union forces during the Civil War. Most descendants listed lived in Kentucky.

Matthew Coorod Keck (1829-1911) was born in Claiborne County, Tennessee, the youngest child of John and Anna Ousley Keck. He married Elmira Goin (1830-1865) in 1846. They had seven children, 1847-1865. He married 2) Anna Dunn Sowder (1836-1930), widow of Adam Sowder. They had five children, 1868-1875. Descendants listed lived in Tennessee, Wyoming and elsewhere.

Jacob Sowder (ca. 1734-1819) served in the Revolutionary War with Virginia regiments. Record chiefly follows line of descent to Adam Sowder (1834-1862). He was born in Claiborne County, Tennessee, the son of Emmanuel and Milly Sowder. He married Anna Dunn in 1855. They had four children, 1857-1861. He died during the Civil War while serving in the Union Army. His wife, Anna Dunn, married 2) Matthew Keck. Most descendants listed lived in Tennessee.
