Joyce Howard
GRAINFIELD--Joyce Howard, 68, Grainfield, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004.
Mrs. Howard was born Joyce Katt on Dec. 16, 1935, in Gove County. She was a retired bank cashier for Citizens State Bank and was a secretary for Gove County Extension.
Her husband, Gerald, died in 1991.
Survivors include three sons, Jeff of Portland, Ore., Brad of Grainfield and Tracy of Wamego; a brother, Orvis Katt of Grainfield; three sisters, Verna Miller of Craig, Colo., and Bonnie Ford of Sunnyvale, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Grainfield. Burial will be in Grainfield Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Gove County Medical Center and the church, in care of Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, P.O. Box 221, Oakley 67748.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church.
