Wanda Pickett, 72, of Camden, AR died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, AR. She was born December 05, 1937 in Paris, TX. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Camden. She owned and operated Camden Concrete Company for the past 28 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Jay and Edith Bunch Sutton; and daughter, Laura Dianne Pickett.

She is survived by her husband, Charles David Pickett of Camden, AR; son, Charles Everett Pickett and wife, Lynn of Cupertino, CA; grandchildren, Emma Louise Pickett of Cupertino, CA, Krystal Croce of Lytle, TX, and Matthew Derdyn of League City, TX; great granddaughter, Kamryn Jade Croce of Lytle, TX; special assistant, Michelle Stinnett of Holly Springs, AR; sister-in-law, Katie Pickett of Camden, AR; aunt, Bessie Bunch Wuertz of Texarkana, TX; uncle, John Raymond Bunch of Atlanta, GA; and several beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a. m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Dr. Richard Piles will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. Friday. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
