The caption is written by my Grandma Shirley Thompson. My husband went to Culpepper in 2014 and looked for the house. Locals thought that it had burned down several decades ago. He couldn't find the graveyard. The local museum had recently had a special exhibit about the Stringfellow family and had several books of family history for sale.
