Dunoon Cemetery is a small bush cemetery 2km south of Dunoon Village & 14.5km north of Lismore on the Dunoon Road. It is on the left hand side (western side) & not visible from the road and accessed via a tree line lane. It dates from 1880. It is entirely monumental except for a small columbarium probably erected about 1985. The headstones are in good condition but lichen makes deciphering some of the inscriptions difficult. Sandra & Warren Cockbain visited the cemetery in April 2012. The cemetery is administered by Lismore City Council & 436 inscriptions were updated 16 Jun 2012. Source: Austcemindex.com website.
