This indenture made the first day of June One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty One between James Cull of the Parish and County of Amherst in the Colony of Virginia of the one part and Dawson Wade of the County & Colony aforesaid on the other part witnesseth that the said James Cull for and in Consideration of the sum of Ten shillings Current money of Virginia to him hand paid before the sealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and therewith to be fully Satisfied and paid hath Bargained Sold Aliened ? and Confirm unto the said Dawson Wade his heirs and assigns for one certain Tract or Parcell of Land Containing Sixty Acres lying and being in the County of Amherst on the South Branch of the North fork of Davis's Creek and bounded as followeth to with.
