Oak Knoll Cemetery, Palmer, Hampden, Massachusetts, United States
I visited the cemetery and was able to read the entire inscription which is as follows: In Memory of Liou William Scott who was born at Springfield Nov 10 1723 and departed this life at Palmer May 25 1790 in the 67th year of his age My dearest friends behold and do not mourn for me My body's turned to dust, My soul in Christ set free. Then welcom welcom harmless grav I'll quit the world's delucive charms How perfect happy I shall be. In realms of Light in Jesus arms. The above lines were composed by himself long before his death. [The "e" was left off of both welcome and grave]
