Siblings Interview About Their Parents

This conversation revolves around 3 questions. 1. What is your favorite memory of Dad? 2. What is your favorite memory of Mom? 3. What is the most important lesson they taught you?

David Canada: All my memories of them, except losing them, are happy. I think the most important thing they taught me was to love and value my siblings.

Belinda Canada: So true. They really valued family.

Gloria Canada: I agree. I know no other family whose siblings love and value each other like we do. Love you three.

Nancee Canada: Favorite memory of Dad is the wonderful trips to Tiptonville.

Belinda: Mine is of one Christmas morning in Schoffield, Hawaii, when we all got new bicycles. It was drizzling that morning, but Dad took us outside and ran beside each of us until we gained the confidence to ride on our own. I can still picture it in my mind. I was so proud of learning to ride on my own!

Nancee: Favorite memory of Mom are all the delicious meals (and desserts) she made for us and sitting down as a family.

Belinda: My favorite memory of Mom is me as a little girl and Mom holding me in her arms as she rocked us in her rocking chair. I felt so safe and loved in Mom's arms!

Nancee: Most important lesson - Mom told me the money I spent on getting my college degree would be the best money every spent!
