Daudzas grāmatas, periodiskie izdevumi un kartes ir pieejamas digitālajā bibliotēkā, un tām var piekļūt, izmantojot pievienoto saiti. Darbi, kas ir aizsargāti ar autortiesībām, nav pieejami apskatei tiešsaistē.
Sadaļā „Mikrofilma/Digitālās piezīmes” ir ietverts mikrofilmas vai mikrofišas numuru apraksts. Dažos FamilySearch centros un sadarbības partneru bibliotēkās atrodas iepriekš aizdotu mikrofilmu vai mikrofišu kolekcijas. Ar kameras simbolu ir apzīmēti vienumi, kas ir digitāli pieejami tiešsaistē.
Visas mikrofilmas ir digitalizētas, un pašlaik notiek mikrofišu digitalizācija. Mikrofilmu vai mikrofišu attēli vēl var nebūt digitāli pieejami vietnē FamilySearch.org šādu iemeslu dēļ:
- Iespējams, attiecīgās mikrofišas skenēšana ir ieplānota vēlāk.
- Mikrofilma vai mikrofiša, iespējams, ir skenēta, taču tai ir liegta piekļuve kāda līgumā noteikta, ar datu konfidencialitāti saistīta vai kāda cita ierobežojuma dēļ. FamilySearch dara visu iespējamo, lai nodrošinātu piekļuvi mikrofilmām, ievērojot ierakstu pārvaldītāju lēmumus un piemērojamos tiesību aktus.
- Lai piekļūtu mikrofilmu un mikrofišu digitālajiem attēliem, jums, iespējams, būs jāatrodas FamilySearch centrā vai FamilySearch bibliotēkā. Dažos gadījumos var būt nepieciešams arī pierakstīties savā FamilySearch kontā.
