George A. C. and Ada Glenn Dabling and family

George Alfred Cordon Dabling, son of George Dabling and Esther Richman, was born in 1863 in Mound City, Utah. He married Ada Glenn in 1882 in Wallsburg, Utah. They had twelve children. He died in 1925 in Soda Springs, Idaho.

John Godfrey of Worcestershire, England : ancestry and posterity

John Godfrey (1825-1893) married Mary Pittaway in 1845 in England. They, with eight of their children, immigrated to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1862. They settled first in Mendon and then in Clarkston where many descendants still reside. John also married Olena Talseth/Thalseth. Descendants include Mormons.

He married Anna Andersdotter, daughter of Anders Nilsson and Pernilla Andersdotter, on 15 Nov 1861 in Dagstorp, Malmohus, Sweden. Anna was born 23 Dec 1836 in Dagstorp, Malmohus, Sweden. They had 3 children. Anna died 26 Jan 1869 in Annelov, Malmohus, Sweden. Lars and his son Andrew immigrated to Utah in 1869. Lars died 29 July 1891 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. His ancestors are from Sweden, and his descendants have lived in Utah, Idaho, Minnesota, Wyoming, and other areas in the United States.

The Jolley family book : the story of Henry Jolley and his wife, Frances Manning Jolley, with historical-genealogical and data on their ancestry and descendants

Henry Jolley, son of John and Louisa Bryan Jolley, was born 26 August 1789 in Pitt County, North Carolina. He married Frances Manning (1789-1844), daughter of Reuben Manning and Diana McCoy, 23 January 1806. In 1825, the Jolleys moved to Tennessee. They became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and moved to Nauvoo, Illinois where Frances died 29 September 1844. After Frances' death, Henry married his second wife, Barbara. They journeyed to the Salt Lake Valley in 1848 with the Amasa Lyman Company, settling first in Salt Lake City then later south in Grove Creek, which is now known as Pleasant Grove, Utah County. He died 20 December 1850. Descendants lived in Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington and elsewhere.

Johann Jacob Krafft was born in W├╝rttemberg. Germany, ca. 1740. He immigrated to America and was living in Springfield Township, York County, Pennsylvania, by 1763. He married Maria Dorothea Nes, ca. 1764. They had seven children, 1765-ca. 1777. His name last appears in the records of York County in 1795. His son, George Croft (1770-1855) migrated to Botetourt County, Virginia. He married Mary Critz (1778-1846) there in 1799. They had nine children, 1800-1820. They family migrated to Bethel Township, Clark County, Ohio, in 1804. George and Mary Croft are buried in Ferncliff Cemetery, Clark County. Descendants lived in Ohio, Texas, Utah, California, Arizona, and elsewhere.

Charles Ramsden Bailey, his life and families

Autobiography and life history of Charles Ramsden Bailey (1839-1910), a Mormon convert who immigrated in 1855 with his mother and her other children from England to Logan, Utah. He married four times and moved to Wellsville, Utah. His widowed mother, Ellen Jane (Robbins) Bailey, had married his father, Charles Ramsden Sr., in 1838--and left him in 1852 because of mistreatment. Their son, Charles (1839- 1910), took the surname of Bailey after he left England with his mother and two half-sisters.
