Samuel Charles Bryant of Rolvenden, his roots and his branches, England--Australia--America : a biographical and genealogical record of the family of Samuel Charles and Sarai Stapley Bryant

Samuel Charles Bryant (1799-1863) was born at Relvenden, Kent, England, the son of John Bryant (1760-1850) and Jane Watson Bryant (1763- 1830). He married Sarai Stapley (1803-1857), daughter of Henry Stapley (1759-1832) and Elizabeth Tarbutt Stapley (1766-1827) in 1822 at Rolvenden. They had twelve children, 1823-1848. The family immigrated to Australia in 1838, and settled in Northumberland County, New South Wales, 100 miles north of Sydney. The family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints between 1851 and 1853. The family immigrated to America in 1854 and settled at San Bernardino, California. One son returned to Australia; the other children migrated to Utah. Samuel Charles and Saria Bryant died at San Bernardino. Descendants lived in Utah, California, Idaho, Arizona, New South Wales, Australia, and elsewhere.

Reuben J. & Jane Hancock Perkins : ancestry and posterity

Reuben Josiah Perkins was born 14 October 1856 in Bountiful Utah. His parents were Jessie Nelson Perkins, Sr. (1819-1883) and Rhoda Condra McCelland (1821-1891). He married Eliza Jane Hancock (1864-1919), daughter of Mosiah Lyman Hancock and Margaret McCleve, 2 November 1881 in St. George, Utah. They had thirteen children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Arizona, Utah, Texas, Indiana, North Carolina, Maryland and England.

The Hoopes family record : a genealogical record of the Hoopes family, descendants of Daniel Hoopes of Westtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania; V. 02

Daniel Hoopes (1672-1749) emigrated from England with his father, John, and two of Daniel's sisters. He married Jane Worrilaw in 1696 in Pennsylvania. Descendants lived throughout the United States. Some of these descendants joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
