The life and times of Reverend John Corbly and the John Corbly family genealogy

John Corbly was born near London, England in February of 1733. He came to America in 1747. He married Abigail Bull in 1752. She was born in 1734 and died in 1768. They were the parents of four children. He married Elizabeth Tyler in 1773. She died in 1782. They were the parents of five children, four were killed in an Indian massacre in 1782. He married Nancy Lynn in 1784. She was born in 1761 and died in 1826. They were the parents of eight children, one died young. He died in Pennsylvania in 1803. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Iowa, West Virginia, and elsewhere. Henry Adams of Somersetshire, England, and Braintree, Mass. : his English ancestry and some of his descendants

Henry Adams (ca.1583-1646) was the son of John Adams and Agnes Stone, the grandson of Henry Adams, and the great-grandson of John Adams. He married Emily Squire, and the family emigrated in 1638 from England to Braintree (now Quincy), Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C. and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in England to about 1272 A.D.

Thomas Harris (1722-1799) married Elizabeth Bailey in 1747, and emigrated from Ireland to Chester County, Pennsylvania. Joseph Smith Harris (b.1836), direct descendant in the fourth generation, married Delia Silliman Brodhead, and also lived in Chester County. The geneaology [i.e. genealogy] of the Henry family

David F. Henry, son of David and Anna Patterson Henry, was born 22 May 1836 in Pittsburgh. He married Annie Elenore Irvin, daughter of William A. and Ann Irvin, 19 September 1857. After their marriage they made their home in St. Anthony's Falls, Minnesota. The Henry's lived in several Minnesota locations before finally returning to Pittsburgh. In 1722 David F. Henry's ancestor, Robert Henry and his wife Mary emigrated from Scotland to America and settled in Chester County, Pennsylvania. During the same year, at Easton, Pa., a son was born to the couple who was named Robert. They remained in Pennsylvania until 1745, when they migrated to Virginia, settling in Martinsburg. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Ohio and elsewhere.

The ancestry of Sarah Johnson, 1775-1824, wife of Joseph Neal of Litchfield, Maine

Sarah (Sally) Johnson, daughter of Adam and Mary Hutchason Johnson was baptized 14 May 1775. Marriage intentions for Sarah and Joseph Neal were registered 14 February 1791 in Gardiner. She died 26 July 1824. Sarah is a descendant of John Johnston who family tradition says " ... was born in Scotland, married Mary Anderson and moved to Ireland before embarking for New England."--P. [3]. Ancestors and relatives lived in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and elsewhere.
