Joshua Holden eventually setteled in Nephi, Utah after spending his boyhood in the Carolinas, his youth and early manhood in the hill country of southern Tennessee, and after his marriage they moved to southern Illinois where they first heard of the Mormons and joined the Church.

The John and Inger Sward Johnson family : pioneers in Lakeview, Utah

Ingar Sward, daughter of August (Akesson) and Elna Johnson Sward, came to Utah in 1867 after becoming members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sweden. She met John Johnson, originally from Norway, who was to become her future husband, neat Fort Benton, Nebraska on the trek to Utah. They were early settlers of Lakeview, Utah.

Clarence Dixon Taylor : his life and work

Clarence Dixon Taylor was born 11 May 1909 in Provo, Utah. His parents were Arthur Nicholls Taylor (1870-1935) and Maria Louise Dixon (1872-1947). He never married. Clarence died 21 May 2005 in Provo, Utah. Ancestors and relatives have lived mainly in England, South Africa and Utah.
