Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Chamberlain (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, Holland, Ireland, and Normandy. Some focus is on (but not limited to) the immigrants Henry, Richard, William, Edmund (Edward), Thomas, and Theophilus Chamberlain. Some Chamberlains settled in Barbados (West Indies), Massachusetts, New York, Vermont, and Virginia in the 1600s. In the 1700s, some settled in Quebec and Nova Scotia (Canada), Australia, and in Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. During the 1800s, some moved to India, and to Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, and Ohio. Some are related to the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, Arthur Neville Chamberalin (1869-1940), and to John de Tankerville (Tancarville or Tanquervile). Later descendants and relatives also lived in Acadia, Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario (Canada), England, Switzerland, Taiwan, and in Alaska, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and elsewhere. Some Chamberlains may have American Indian bloodlines. Information of births, marriages, deaths, and other important events are taken from bibles, cemetery, shared family resarch, and other records of contemporary members and their ancestors.
