District of Kentucky is now in Kentucky. Districts of Monongalia, Ohio, and Greenbrier are now in West Virginia. Districts of Augusta, Botetourt, Washington and Montgomery are in Virginia. District of Yohogania is in Pennsylvania.

Lists people who received certificates from the commissioners in the districts of Kentucky (p. 1-51); Monongalia, Yohogania and Ohio (p. 52-125); Augusta, Botetourt, and Greenbrier (p. 126-163); and Washington and Montgomery (p. 165-end). Only the schedule for Washington and Montgomery has a date, 1781.

Arranged by district and then alphabetically by first letter of surname within the district. Gives name of settler or preemptioner and the number of acres under settlement and/or preemption.
