The land records for Washita County include deeds, miscellaneous records, mortgages, oil and gas leases and patents. While there are separate indexes for each type of record, the actual records are arranged in a combined series. The numbering of the volumes varies. During the territorial period, the volumes were numbered in separate series by type of record, but after about 1910, the records are combined into one series. The early records are listed first.

Washita County was created from Oklahoma Territory County H.

Includes separate indexes for each type of land record. Because the records are mixed and not separated by record type, all of the indexes are listed at the beginning of the film notes.
