The Parents- where did your father work.

This is a history given by Jean Claire Mignacco to her granddaughter, Stacey Anne Beerman Trumble. It was typed by Stacey. When asked, "Tell me about where your father worked." she replied.

(This is Stacey, I am so sorry. When I went to type this story, part of the text was destroyed. I wish I had the beginning of her answer because I believe her father stood up to someone and the boss was impressed, so he gave him a chance. He really worked his way up from the bottom, I want to say he was the janitor. I will share the part I still have.)

He didn't know anything of course he could type, but he didn't know anything about short hand. My father worked during the day and took night classes to learn. He was self taught.

Then Western Can Company made MJB's coffee cans and MJB owned Western Can Company. My father was able to become a director in the Western Can Company. He just went right up and soon he became an executive.
