Description

The Place Types resource is used to read a list of place types. A place type is a type of place, such as a cemetery, city, state, etc. Types have translated names, which is useful for localization purposes.

Operations

GET - Read the list of place types.

Produces - Specify a returned data format using the Accept header.

This method does not accept any parameters.

Status Codes

200 - Upon a successful read.
404 - If the list of place types cannot be retrieved.
