Troy Dunn

Troy Dunn was born into a family three generations of adoption, so he grew up with numerous questions about heritage. At the age of 24, Troy and a friend helped his own mother reconnect with her biological heritage, and that emotional experience inspired them to launch what would become an international organization dedicated to granting the wishes of families seeking long lost loved ones.

Troy has been interviewed by Oprah, Barbara Walters and Dr. Phil. He’s been featured as a contributor on Fox News, CNN, The Today Show, Good Morning America and countless others. He has starred in three primetime TV series of his own including; “The Locator”, APB With Troy Dunn”, and “Last Hope”. All of his shows are now streaming on Amazon Prime, and currently airing in 44 countries worldwide.

Troy’s organization was eventually acquired by Ancestry.com, but Troy’s commitment to rebuilding fractured families continues through his television career and that has led to the creation of a non-profit being formed, The Locator Foundation.

As Troy moves further and further into the genealogical community, his interest in the trending category of heritage-focused travel has grown to be one of his key areas of concentration, and he is leading the industry in a very exciting direction!
