Ann Harrison
Ann Harrison serves as the Director of Global Engagement at the Family History Department, following roles as Manager of Asia Pacific Operations and Engagement Manager at FamilySearch. Before joining FamilySearch, Ann held marketing and product management positions in the optical industry with brands like 1-800 Contacts, Walmart, Johnson & Johnson, and Pearle Vision. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and an MBA from Brigham Young University. Ann has also been active in church callings, including serving as part of the Relief Society presidency, a Sunday School teacher, and a full-time missionary in the Korea Seoul West mission. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Ann currently resides in Holladay, Utah.
Michael Colemere
Michael Colemere began his journey at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in June 2009, where he served as Managing Director of the Church Communication Department for twelve years. In 2022, he transitioned to the role of Homeland Director at FamilySearch International, overseeing operations across Asia, the Philippines, Oceana, and Africa.Michael has a diverse professional background. He founded a business consulting company focused on aligning strategy with execution and held positions such as Director of Operations at Arties, CEO, and Chairman at MediConnect.net, and board member for three humanitarian organizations.Prior to his leadership roles at MediConnect.net, Michael served as Vice President of Product Management and Corporate Officer at VERITAS Software, as well as Vice President of Product Management and Business Alliances at Seagate Software, Network and Storage Management Group. He also held positions in strategic business development at Cheyenne Software and various management roles at Novell.Michael holds an MBA and a BS in Information Management from Brigham Young University in Utah.
Tom Gill
Thomas P. Gill is the Homeland Director for Latin America at the Family History Department and a Senior Vice President of FamilySearch International. He previously held roles as Controller and Director of Planning and Business Analytics.Before joining FamilySearch, Tom served as Finance Director at Destination Homes and contributed to Payless ShoeSource as Director of Planning and Analysis and Director of Systems and Solutions. He holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA from Brigham Young University.In addition to his professional achievements, Tom has been actively involved in church leadership roles and served as a full-time missionary in the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Mission. Originally from Berkeley, California, Tom married Kathy Snow in April 1987. They reside in Kaysville, Utah, and are proud parents of six children and six grandchildren.
Stephen Valentine
Stephen Valentine is Sr. Vice President of FamilySearch International. Stephen’s current responsibilities include marketing and outreach, strategic partnerships, business development, the Family History Library, and chief storytelling advocate within FamilySearch.Stephen has been employed by FamilySearch since 1998 and has served in a variety of leadership roles. Stephen hails from Brigham City, Utah. He received his Bachelor and Masters degrees from Utah State University. A published author of fantasy and science fiction, he is also passionate about telling family stories and has written several books on his family adventures. Stephen is the proud father of five children and seven grandchildren and hopes that there will be many more to come (grandchildren that is, not children!).
