Brandenburg: Core province of Prussia - Session 1

In the introductory lecture by historian M.A. Gerd-Christian Treutler, the 850-year and eventful history of Brandenburg is vividly explained. If the city of Brandenburg an der Havel is significant for the emergence of the province of Brandenburg, then this in turn can be described - certainly not unjustifiably - as the "heart of Prussia". The long and close relationship between Brandenburg and Prussia is indisputable. Beyond the historical view, the chairman of the BGG "Roter Adler" also takes a second view, namely that of the family researcher. The participants in the live event may hope not only for an entertaining history lesson, but beyond that also questions to the family research to Gerd-Christian Treutler and its team place. We will try to answer these in the discussion round. If we are not able to do so, we will answer them in writing later.
