Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Edwards families who mainly came from England and Wales. Some settled in the counties of Northumberland and Gloucester, in Virginia between 1630-1690. Other Edwards families settled in Maryland in the 1600's. One primary ancestor, William Edwards (1630-1685) settled in 1639 at Hartford, Connecticut. His son, Dr. Richard Edwards moved to Virginia. Some focus is on (but not limited to) two descendants, Thomas Edwards, Jr. and Robert Edwards. Robert (1732-1774) married Anne Chinn. Thomas Jr. (1763-1818) married the widow, Sarah Ingram Swann. In the 1700's, Edwards families lived in Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, and Vermont. During the 1800's, some moved to Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Tennessee. Later descendants also lived in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, and elsewhere.
