A 1981 supplement to "The Curd family in America" (1938), which is one of the books reprinted in this record (see contents note below). Edward Curd (d.1742) immigrated from England to Henrico County, Virginia, and was probably the ancestor of all those named Curd in America. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, California and elsewhere.
