"Contributed [to the Greensburg Public Library] Jan. '86 by Dorothy Patton Tucker, daughter of Brent Patton.".
Nathaniel Patton was born in 1776. He married Polly Robinson (1775- 1847) in Rockbridge County, Virginia, in 1797. The had twelve children, 1798-1819, the first three in Rockbridge County, Virginia, the others in Adams County, Ohio. He died in 1844 at Springhill, Decatur County, Indiana. Descendants listed lived in Indiana and elsewhere.
Includes company muster roll records for William C. Patton in the Indiana Infantry, 1861-1864, and a letter from Allen Junkins to Mrs. Tucker.
