Many records out of chronological order.

There are many missing years after 1803. The records after 1804 were created by the second Heir and Devisee Commission.

Contains Heir and Devisee Commission records which include case files, reports and minutes along with the Surveyor-General's notes. Some volumes are indexed. Includes some records for Québec.

At the beginning of each film is a shelf list which gives a general description of the contents of each volume.
