In Memoriam
In sad and loving remembrance of
beloved mother Mrs. Harriet Collis,
who passed away one year ago Jan 18, 1920.
No longer on this earth we see
Her gentle, loving face;
There is no one in this world
Can take her place
Worthy of respect was she
From those she left behind;
A better mother here could not be
A mother more true and kind
Like ivy on a weathered oak
Where all things else decay
Our love for her will still keep green
And never fade away.
