Mary B. Strickland -- Born October 27, 1918, a native of Laurel, MS and a resident of Mobile, AL, departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2002. She drove school buses from the Mobile County School System at Scarbrough Middle School and Shaw High School for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Chellie Brewsaw; and her loving husband, Lewis D. Strickland. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Charlotte (Larry) Strickland Wilson of Theodore, AL; three grandchildren, Stacey Wilson Riddle of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, Amy Wilson Lentavich of Jackson, MS, and Jason Wilson of Indianapolis, IN; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Riddle, and Haley Riddle, both of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2002 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Moffett Road Baptist Church where the service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens. Arrangements by GILMER'S FUNERAL HOME, Zeigler Blvd, Mobile, AL.
