Ireland, anciently known as Hibernia, was invaded by the Normans in 1169-1171. These Normans soon married the native Irish and over time adapted their language and culture. They were known as the Hiberno-Normans. This class looks at the history of the Hibern-Normans and how to do family history research on these families.
