Record details page does not link to the original image

Sometimes the image link for an indexed record does not match the indexed information.

  • Look at the surrounding images. Click the Previous or Next arrow. Scan through several images before and after the current image.
  • Notice the certificate number or the date of the event in the indexed information. Use the number or date to help you navigate to the correct image.
  • Some records display a message: "This record may have come from this image. You may need to look through several surrounding images if it does not appear on this image." When you see this message, be prepared to search several images around the one that appears in order to find the correct image.

If these suggestions do not work, you can try to find similar information in another record:

  • Search the catalog
  • Search Record Collections.
  • Search Images
  • Search the wiki.
