Here is a list of known issues as well as the workarounds and projected solutions for the indexing program as of August 8, 2018.
- Can't open or find a batch
- Many projects are at 99 percent completion for indexing, and many users get an error trying to open a batch. Often, the only batches remaining have issues so they can't be opened.
- Find a Project
- Favorites: Yellow stars don't show in the full list of projects when you come back to the list after visiting another page, but the Favorites tab shows them correctly.
- Fixed: Indexing tool
- If you click the back button to return to the Indexing page, an error may flash and then disappear. You are still taken to the right place. There is not really an error.
- Project-specific issues
- There are often problems with specific projects or batches within a project that are not general defects. These issues are fixed as they are identified.
- International characters
- Fixed: If you insert a character, the cursor jumps to the beginning of the field.
- If you insert a character and then close the international character window, the cursor jumps to the beginning.
- It now works to insert a character and keep typing.
- Groups: Messages
- You can't send messages to all stakes in an area.
- You can't resend an invitation to join a group. An error is shown.
- You can't send group messages to people with a specific role (such as group administrators).
- Groups: Reports
- Filtering is including people who don't match the criteria.
- The report format is messed up in the PDF. Sometimes an incorrect language will show in the report.
The following is a priority order list of key features that are coming soon:
- Suggested places.
- Name lookup lists.
- Increase numbers automatically when a field is copied.
