Notakuéra

Thomas Smiley II, of Scottish lineage, lived in or near Londonderry, Ireland, and had four children (three boys and a girl). The three boys all immigrated to America: (1) William went to Virginia; (2) Francis to Londonderry, New Hampshire; and (3) John to Hanover, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. John Smiley (1706-1870) had been born in Scotland, and immigrated with his parents to Ireland, where he married Margaret Buchanan. They immigrated about 1740 to America, and settled near Carlisle in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, and had nine children there. Descendants and relatives of the John Smiley line lived in Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Kansas, Texas and elsewhere.

Includes Ewing, Kabrick, Kirchoff, Roberts, Stagg, Wright and related families.
