"On the one roll of this microfilm publication, M2064, are reproduced card manifests of alien and citizen arrivals at Fort Fairfield, ME, ca. 1909-April 1953. There are a few cards for arrivals at such ports as Easton, ME; Houlton, ME; Boston, MA; and Buffalo, NY. A few records of departures by aliens are also included. The cards are arranged alphabetically and include permanent and temporary arrivals. These records are part of the Records of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, Record Group (RG) 85." -- p. 1.
May include name, age, sex, marital status, place of birth, occupation, citizenship, place of last permanent residence, port and date of arrival, destination, purpose for entering the United States, name and address of the friend or relative whom the alien intended to join, and other information.
