Bernard Gale Farley (1901-1990) was born in Lawrence Township, Washington County, Ohio, the son of William Robert Farley (1870-1963) and Fredonia Isabelle Hamilton Farley (1875-1939). He married Hilma Hazel Hune (1903-1989) in 1922 at Marietta, Ohio. She was born in Lawrence Township, Washington County, Ohio, the daughter of Edward Allison Hune (1880-1977) and Ella Waxler Hune (1880-1941). Bernard and Hilma had five children, 1923-1944, born at Marietta. Most descendants lived in Ohio. Record also includes the descendants of Bernard Gale Farley's borthers, Harry Clay Farley (1893-1959) and Raymond Dale Farley (1908-1997).

Ancestors include: Thomas Farley (ca. 1715-1782) of Ireland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Hampshire County, Virginia (West Virginia) -- Heinrich Hune (b. ca. 1633) of Shonhagen, Germany and his descendant Heinrich Christoph Gottlieb Hune (1784-1859) of Gottingen, Germany and Baltimore, Maryland -- Gavin Hamilton (d. 1698) of Scotland or Ireland and Prince George's County, Virginia -- Thomas Waxler (ca. 1793-ca. 1831) of Hampshire County, Virginia; and Muskingum County, Ohio -- Edward Parrish (ca. 1640-ca. 1680) of Virginia and Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
