Bible originally owned by Samuel and Sarah Grubb Gregg of Loudoun County, Virginia. Copied in 1935 from Bible owned by Mrs. A.L. Wilson, Newtown, Ohio.

Stephen Gregg (d. 1795) and his wife, Susanna (d. 1805), were the parents of five children, born 1768-1798. Susanna was also the mother of Sarah Dixon (b. 1760) daughter of her first husband. Their son, Thomas Gregg (1768-1826) and his wife, Ann (ca. 1769-1826), were married in 1794. They had ten children, 1795-after 1809. Thomas and Ann died on the same day and were buried in one grave in the Friends'graveyard at Goose Creek. Their son, Samuel Gregg (b. 1800), and Sarah Grubb (b. 1798) were married in 1825. .

Includes the family of Sarah Grubb Gregg's parents. William Grubb was born in 1766, the son of William and Rachel Grubb. Mary McBride, his wife, was born in 1769, the daughter of James and Mary McBride. William and Mary Grubb had ten children, 1790-1810.
