Timothy Swindell (ca. 1715-after 1784) married Rebecca Crease (d. after 1777) ca. 1740. They had five children. The family lived in Culpepper County, Virginia. Descendants listed lived in Virginia, South Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, and elsewhere. The surname is spelled Swindall, Swindell, and Swindle.
Includes the Addington, Browning, Davis, Dotson, Ellsbury, Fleming, Hayden, Hopkins, Maxey, Meade, Mullins, Stanley, Stephens, Vanover, and other related families.
John Austin (between 1680-1700-ca. 1760) was living in Brunswick County, Virginia, in 1740 and was a constable in Lunenburg County, Virginia, in 1749. His will, written in 1758 and proved in 1760, listed his wife, Hannah, and five sons. Descendants listed lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, and elsewhere.
