Elsie Colton Moore was born at Provo, Utah, in 1881, the daughter of Stephen and Eleanor Colton Moore. She married Merrill Rowe Lott, who was born in 1886 at Holt, Michigan, in 1911 at Provo. He was an engineer in Utah, New York, and California. Their son, Stephen Moore Lott was born in 1911 at Provo. He married Margaret Mckechnie in 1941 at Berkley, California. They had two children, 1943-1946, born at Beverly Hills, California.
Stephen Bliss Moore (1836-1894) was born at Orange, Massachusetts, the son of Samuel Moore (1804-1883) and Eunice Sibley Bliss Moore (b. 1807). He migrated to Utah with the Mormon pioneers in 1847. He married Eleanor Roseltha Colton (1838-1922) in 1857. She was born at Carthage, Illinois, the daughter of Philander Colton (1811-1891), a member of the Mormon Battalion, and Polly Matilda Merrill Colton (1817-1891). She migrated to Utah with the Mormon pioneers in 1848. They had eleven children, 1858-1881. Stephen Moore died at Provo, Utah. His widow died at Salt Lake City.
Ancestors include: Egbert I, King of West Saxons, 802-839 -- Jared Merrill (1754-1832) of Harford, Connecticut and Genessee, New York -- George Colton (fl. 1644) of Warwickshire, England and Connecticut -- Jonathan Bliss (1626-1687) of Devonshire, England and Massachusetts -- Andrew Moore (b. 1628) of Ballymore, Ireland and Warwick, Massachusetts.
