Clark William Jennings was born in 1929 at Orlando, Florida, the son of Clark William and Mary Sybil Johnson Jennings. He graduated from medical school at Tulane University in 1954. He is living at Hickory, North Carolina, in 1994, with his second wife, Phyllis. He is the father of two sons, a daughter and three adopted daughters. His father, Clark William Jennings, was born in 1900 at Chicago, Illinois, the son of William Buillups Jennings (1863-1951) and Maggie Mae Sloan Jennings (1868-1922). He married Mary Sybill Johnson in 1926 at Columbia, Missouri. They had two sons. He was a municipal judge at Orlando, Florida. He died a Bella Vista, Arkansas, in 1979, and is buried at Winter Park, Florida. Mary Sybil Johnson was born 1904 at Columbus, Missouri, the daughter of William T. Johnson Johnson (1869-1936) and Sybil Gertrude Cox Johnson (1877-1969). She died in 1976 at Winter Park, Florida.
Ancestors include: Robert Jennings (1672-1716) of England and Hanover County, Virginia; Samuel Johnson (1793-1871) of Scott County, Kentucky, and Boone County, Missouri; James Collett (d. 1807) of Randolph County, North Carolina; John Cox (d. after 1788) of Maryland and Sullivan County, Tennessee; and Patrick Dyer (d. 1724) of St. Maries County, Maryland; Patrick Sloan (d. 1737) of Chester, Pennsylvania. Includes other related families and royal ancestry.
