Hiram Gaines Adams (1839-1910) and Parthena Jane Seymour (1843-1926) were married in 1865. They had eight children, 1867-1881. He died in Elbert County, Georgia, and was buried at Bowman, Georgia. Parthena Adams died at the home of her daughter near Elberton, Georgia, and was buried by her husband.
Robert Adams of Goochland County, Virginia, and his wife, Mourning, had at least ten children. He died ca. 1740. His son, James Adams, was probably born in Henrico or New Kent County, Virginia, ca. 1725. He married Cecily Ford in Goochland County, Virginia, 1751. They had twelve children. His son, James Adams (1753-1835), a Revolutionary War soldier, migrated to Elbert County, Georgia, in 1799. His son, John C. Adams was the father of Hiram Gaines Adams (1838-1850).
