Three men, probably relatives, with the Replogle [Reblogel in German] surname immigrated to America in the 1700s from Bas-Rhin, France. 1) Johann Reinhard Reblogel/John Reinhart Replogle (1720-1796) was born at Soultz Sous Forets, Bas-Rhin, the son of Philip Reblogel (1688-1760) and the grandson of Andreas Reblogel (1656-1743). A Revolutionary War soldier, he immigrated to America ca. 1752 and lived in Pennsylvania and Maryland. He died in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. 2) Johann Balthasar Reblogel/Balzar Replogel (1722-ca. 1809) was born at Soultz Sous Forets, the son of Balthasar Reblogel (1682-before 1742). He immigrated to America and was living in York County, Pennsylvania, by 1779. He died in Rockbridge County, Virginia. 3) Johann Jacob Reblogel was born in 1688 at Lamerlock, Alsace.
