Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Hogg (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, France, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. Hogg is one of the septs of Clan Farquharson. Some early ancestors include three sons of James Hogg. His sons were Peter, James, and Thomas. They settled in Augusta County, Virginia. Later descendants and other Hogg families also lived in Manitoba and Ontario (Canada), to Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and elsewhere.
