Contains church records from Valby parish in Copenhagen city. Also known as Jesuskirken parish. Separated in 1902 from Hvidovre parish. For years earlier than 1818 see Hvidovre parish. Skt. Timoteus parish was separated in 1912.
Sognet oprettedes i h.t. bkg. af 16. apr. 1902 af en del af Hvidovre sogn. Fra sognet udskiltes 1912 dele til Timoteus sogn, 1922 dele til Frederiksholm sogn og i h.t. kgl. res. af 30. aug. 1925 ændredes grænsen til Enghave sogn. I h.t. bkg. af 3. apr. 1941 udvidedes sognet med dele af Timoteus sogn, men samtidig udskiltes dele til Johannes Døbers sogn. Bøger før 1818 bør søges i Hvidovre sogn.
