Consists of two main divisions: the Ellyson genealogy and the Crew genealogy. The order of the genealogies and indexes is as follows: The index to the Crew genealogy, the Ellyson genealogy, the index to the Ellyson genealogy, and lastly the Crew genealogy.
Robert Ellyson was probably born in England, and immigrated to Saint Mary's County, Maryland during or before 1642. In 1649, he was living in Surry County, Virginia, and later in New Kent County, Virginia. He died before 1671.
