Family data is from the Augusta Stone Congregation of Augusta County, Virginia, and assembled by Howard M. Wilson. The Bible was offered by Mrs. Margaret Carroll of the Augusta Stone Congregation. The letter was offered by Miss Grace Lackey of the aforementioned congregation.

Robert Poage and his wife Elizabeth Preston came to Virginia about 1739. John Poage and his wife Jane Bogg came to Virginia about 1745. John's relationship to Robert is not known. The record lists the children of both men.

Contains family data (1 leaf, typescript), Bible records (start with John Poage born in 1757 and includes descendants to 1876), and a letter (3 leaves, handwritten) dated 1915 containing genealogical information.
