Colonel John Price was born in Fredericks County, Maryland in 1757, the son of Arjalon Price (1705-1773) and Joyce Barber (b. 1712), both of Virginia. John lived in Richmond and Orange Counties in Virginia and later moved to Fayette County, Kentucky in 1784, where they helped found Nicholasville. Sarah Bourne was the daughter of Andrew Bourne and Jane Morton of Virginia and Kentucky. Descendants settled throughout the United States. Includes histories, inventory and summaries of genealogical documents.
Includes Price, Francis, Broaddus, Ridgely, Morton, Bourne, Gilliam, Katz and other related families.
