Arthur Moseley (ca. 1637-1703), son of William and Susanna Burnett Moseley, was born in Rotterdam, Holland. He immigrated to lower Norfolk City, Virginia with his parents when he was about twelve or fourteen. His father William is believed to have been originally from England. Arthur Moseley married three times. Name of the first wife is unknown. They had two children: Joseph (d. ca. 1713), and Benjamin (d. 1717). He married (2) Sarah Hancock. They had six children: Susanna (b. ca. 1661); Mary (b. 1661); William (b. ca. 663); Edward (b. ca. 1665); Arthur (b. ca. 1667); and George (ca. 1677-1726). He married (3) Ann Hargrave/Hargrove (b. ca. 1653). They had three children: Amos (b. ca. 1684); Anthony (b. ca. 1689); and Luke (b. ca. 1695). Willie Ann Taylor (1867-1905), daughter of Josiah M. and Lelia Jane Chiles Taylor, was born at Amherst County, Va. She married Thomas B. Proctor Moseley 1885 in Neosho, Missouri. They had seven children, who were born in Neosho, Missouri and Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was the son of Thomas E. Moseley and Sarah Proctor, born 1862 in Keene, Jessamine Co., Kentucky.
