Roger Jones (ca.1625/1635-1701) emigrated from England to James City County, Virginia, and married twice; he returned to England before death. Frederick Jones (d.1722), son of Roger Jones and his first wife Dorothy Walker, moved from James City County, Virginia to Albemarle County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, California and elsewhere. Includes some family history in Wales and England.
