George Lock(e) (1747-1823) and Sarah (or Sally) Hiatt (1753-1827), daughter of John and Mary Hiatt, were married ca. 1772, probably in Berkely County, Virginia. They had eleven children, 1773-ca. 1793. He died in Frederick (now Clarke) County, Virginia. Descendants listed, especially descendants of his daughters, Mary Lock (1774-1847), who married John Hiett (1767-1824); Sarah Lock (1778-1854), who married John Hiett (1775-1865); and Eliza Lock (1816-1879), who married Abraham Underwood (1819-1841), lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and elsewhere.
Includes the Baker, Bare, Hiatt/Hiett, Jones, Rockenfield, Shockey, Swimley, Underwood, Xanders, and other related families.
